01 / Context & challenge

A specific problem.
A considered starting point.

Sandstone Office Supply is a fictional office furniture retailer. Its concept product feed contains inconsistent titles, mixed chair and desk bundles and unclear lead times. Campaign reporting counts enquiry forms and purchases as equally valuable, so a high conversion count does not explain commercial performance.

02 / The objectives

What the concept sets out to improve.

Build reliable catalogue inputs, separate purchase and enquiry objectives, and evaluate paid orders with their actual order values.

03 / Scope & handover

Make the work tangible.

  • Campaign and asset group map
  • Ad copy set
  • Category creative brief

04 / Proposed implementation

The thinking behind the experience.

01

The feed plan standardised product category, model, dimensions, finish, price and availability. Products with incomplete delivery information were excluded from the pilot scope.

02

Search groups addressed high intent office desk and ergonomic chair terms. Brand demand was reported separately so existing recognition did not disguise acquisition performance.

03

PMax asset groups followed catalogue categories with matching imagery and landing destinations. Budget and conversion goals were documented before any experiment.

04

The measurement design made purchases primary for the retail journey and tracked business quote requests separately. Search term reviews and negative keyword decisions formed a weekly operating routine.

Proposed stack / workflow

Suggested implementation: Google Ads, Merchant Center product feeds, ecommerce analytics and back office order reconciliation. Final feature availability must be checked during implementation.

05 / Evaluation scenario

Define the measures.
Understand the limits.

Illustrative results · not measured client performance

Invented before-and-after scenario values from the concept brief. They are not benchmarks, promises or forecasts for a new engagement.

Illustrative evaluation scenario for Sandstone Office Supply. No measured client performance.
MeasureBeforeAfter
Ad spendAED 24000AED 24000
Attributed paid order valueAED 72000AED 96000
Illustrative revenue to ad spend ratio3.0x4.0x

Measurement method & limitations

Use equal 28 day windows and the same purchase attribution window. Exclude cancelled orders and report refunds separately. The revenue to spend ratio uses attributed paid order value divided by media spend; it does not deduct fulfilment costs or prove profit.

Search and PMax overlap, brand traffic and long B2B purchase cycles complicate attribution. No platform screenshot or actual account performance is represented.

Have something more specific in mind? We are happy to talk through your goals, constraints and next steps.

How do you prevent Google from spending money on irrelevant clicks?
We build extensive negative keyword lists before launching campaigns, use exact and phrase match types, and audit search term queries multiple times per week to exclude non-buying searches.
How long does it take for Google Ads smart bidding to optimize?
Smart bidding algorithms require approximately 2 to 3 weeks and 30 to 50 conversion events to learn buyer behavior and deliver optimal cost-per-acquisition performance.
