01 / Context & challenge

A specific problem.
A considered starting point.

Saffron Arc Hospitality is a fictional operator planning a small restaurant and private dining concept. Its scenario materials use unrelated logos, dense menus and inconsistent English and Arabic hierarchy. The brand needs to feel considered across booking screens, printed menus and signage without relying on decorative gold effects.

02 / The objectives

What the concept sets out to improve.

Define a recognisable identity, keep both languages readable and give staff practical templates for daily communication.

03 / Scope & handover

Make the work tangible.

  • Primary and secondary logo concepts
  • Colour values
  • Typography rules
  • Bilingual grids
  • Menu system

04 / Proposed implementation

The thinking behind the experience.

01

Discovery translated the intended experience into a focused brief covering audience, tone, service setting and competitors to avoid imitating. Initial concepts explored a wordmark and an architectural symbol.

02

The selected direction paired deep ink, warm sand and a restrained copper accent. Type choices were assessed for English and Arabic balance, small menu sizes and clear numerals.

03

The system defined logo clear space, contrast, image crops, grid proportions and bilingual composition. Right to left layouts were designed intentionally rather than mirrored automatically.

04

Applications tested the identity on menus, stationery, booking confirmations and wayfinding. The handoff specified editable templates, print exports and a review route for Arabic copy.

Proposed stack / workflow

Suggested production: vector design tools, Figma layouts, font licence records and native language editorial review before a real rollout.

05 / Evaluation scenario

Define the measures.
Understand the limits.

Illustrative results · not measured client performance

Invented before-and-after scenario values from the concept brief. They are not benchmarks, promises or forecasts for a new engagement.

Measurement method & limitations

The audit uses the same thirty application types and a documented checklist. Recognition is an illustrative small concept test, not representative market research. Production time is measured against the same brief and operator skill level.

The fictional brand name is a working name requiring name and trademark checks before use. Native Arabic copy should be typeset and reviewed, not generated as image text.
